On this page you can read which cookies and techniques comparable to cookies are used on the website of Vermaat Support and on what basis. This cookie policy is an addition to our privacy policy.

This is an English translation provided for convenience only. The Dutch version is legally binding and prevails in case of any discrepancy. You can consult the Dutch version here: Cookiebeleid (Nederlands).
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it, so that information about that visit can be stored or read. In addition to cookies, there are comparable techniques by which information can be stored or accessed on your terminal equipment, such as localStorage, sessionStorage, web beacons and pixels. In this policy, by "cookies" we also mean these comparable techniques.
2. Legal framework
The placing and reading of cookies is governed by Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act and, to the extent that personal data is processed in the process, by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG). No consent is required for cookies that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the website, or for cookies that are used solely to facilitate communication or to provide a service requested by you. For all other cookies, prior, unambiguous consent within the meaning of Article 4(11) GDPR is required.
3. Which cookies do we place?
Vermaat Support places no analytical, marketing or tracking cookies, and does not otherwise collect any data about your browsing behaviour that can be traced back to an individual. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or comparable measurement tools.
However, during your visit a minimal amount of technical data that is strictly necessary for the functioning of the website may be stored locally (for example, to remember whether you have dismissed a notice). For this category, the exception to the consent requirement under Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act applies.
Because we do not place any cookies for which consent is required, we also do not ask you for consent via a cookie banner on this website. The absence of a banner is therefore a deliberate choice, not an omission.
4. External parties and third-party sources
We deliberately keep the number of external sources to a minimum. The fonts (Inter and Outfit) and all images are loaded locally from our own environment (self-hosted), so that no data is exchanged with third parties for those. In the normal operation of the website there is therefore one external party:
- Formspree, only at the moment you submit the contact form, your input is sent to Formspree (Formspree Inc., United States) for further handling. In doing so, Formspree may record technical data for anti-spam and security purposes. For the international transfer, we refer to our privacy policy and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can refuse, delete or restrict cookies in your browser settings at any time. Since our website does not place any cookies for which consent is required, a change to your cookie settings will have no noticeable effect on the operation of this site.
6. Future changes
Should we wish to deploy analytical or similar techniques in the future after all, we will in the first instance opt for a privacy-friendly, cookieless solution (for example Plausible Analytics or Simple Analytics). If consent is required for a future technique under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act or Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, we will ask you for it prior to the placement, via a banner.
7. Amendments to this cookie policy
We reserve the right to amend this cookie policy. The most recent version can always be consulted on this page, with the current date under "Last updated".
8. Questions
